In Ontario, every person is afforded rights and protections under the Human Rights Code related to services, good and facilities; residential accommodation; contracts; employment; and within vocational associations. Discrimination and harassment are prohibited within these areas on a variety of grounds including age, race, place of origin, disability and accommodation, and sexual orientation.
